The Robertson Brothers 1960s Variety TV Show @ Redlands Performing Arts Centre

On Sunday afternoon I went to the Redland Performing Arts Centre to see the 1960's Variety Show with the Robertson Brothers, Simon Brook McLachlan and Cosima Devito who was in Australian Idol 2003 which it was my first time seeing the show. I caught the bus to Carindale from the City, caught bus from Carindale to Cleveland, walk to RPAC, bought Cashews and Coke With No Sugar, ate cashews, drank coke with No Sugar and went inside. The show started at 2pm with clips and even an intro by the Lone Ranger and the Robertson Brothers came onstage starting off with Wake Up Little Susie and Simon Brook McLachlan came on doing an tribute to Del Shannon, the Robertson Brothers did an medley of Australian songs of the 60's including the Delltones and the Bee Gees, the guitarist Dieter performed the song Classical Gas, Cosima De Vito came on which she did an segment of the 60's female singers including Dusty Springfield and Cilla Black and finished off the 1st set with an medley of Beach Boys which in between songs the Brothers hosted the awards show which there would be awards for the characters of the TV shows of the 60's and there was an interval which I bought an CD, DVD and Bag as well as having an Cookie and Coke. The second set started with the Robertson Brothers doing an medley an 60's pop songs including The Lions Sleeps Tonight and How Do You Do It, Cosima doing Petula Clark songs and the show ended with everyone with the song With A Little Help From My Friends. The show ended before 4.40pm, went to the toilet, saw Graham (Matthew's Uncle), waited for a few minutes to see if the Performers came out but they didn't, went to the bus stop, caught bus to Carindale, went to the Carindale Hotel where I had Steak, chips and Salad for dinner, drank Coke with No Sugar, Dad picked me up and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which the Robertson Brothers were FANTASTIC as well as very entertaining doing the hosting as well as the singing which sounded great as well as Simon Brook McLachlan sounded great doing Del Shannon as well as the other 60's pop singers and Cosima sounding great doing the Petula Clark classics as well as doing the other songs by other female 60's singers with great guitar playing by Dieter as well as great entertainment including clips of ads of the time and I look forward to see the show again in the future which to those who have not seen the show if you would like to see it please do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
