Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont show @ Kedron Wavell

Last night I went to Kedron Wavell whee i got to see Australian country singers Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont who are husband and wife and it was my 2nd time seeing Brooke which I first saw her live with her sisters The McClymonts nearly 11 years ago at Kedron Wavell Saturday October 25th 2014. I caught bus to Chermside, went to the Sporting Globe where I had Chicken Burger and Chips for dinner, drank Coke With No Sugar, walk to Kedron Wavell, went to the Blue Pacific Room and use my mobile. The show started at 7.30pm with Peter Chapman and the Lumberjacks came on stage which he did an half hour set doing his own songs as well as doing the Creedence Clearwater Revival song Have You Ever Seen The Rain which he got the crowd to sing along and got everyone entertained. There was an interval which I bought an Coke with No Sugar, bought an Hat and Bag at the Merch Stand and use my mobile. Then at 8.20pm Brooke and Adam came on stage which for the next 1 hour and 35 minutes performed songs from their latest album as well as songs that they are doing for an upcoming album as well as entertaining everyone with the sense of humour as well as getting the crowd to sing along to some of the songs as well as telling some stories and had an great back up band who played great which they each played solo parts towards the end of the show. The show finished at 9.55pm, went to the bus stop straight away, caught bus to Cultural Centre, caught bus to Carindale, Dad picked me up and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which everyone had a great time and Adam and Brooke were FANTASTIC as well as entertaining and giving everyone an great time. I look forward to seeing Adam and Brooke again live in the future and if you have not seen them please do yourselves an favour and SEE THEM which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

Memoirs of A Piano Man by John Charter

 This is the autobiography of Australian Pianist and musician John Charter and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Kingsford (Sydney), started learning piano at age 8, playing in Australia's first rock and roll band Alan Dale and the Houserockers, playing in his own trio, forming Johnny Rebb and The Rebels with Johnny Rebb who would achieve 6 top 40 hits from 1959-60 including Hey Sheriff and Pathway To Paradise, doing the Lee Gordon tours with the Everly brothers, Fabian , The Platters and Johnny Ray, doing Bandstand and Six O'Clock Rock, working with Slim Dusty, playing in the Sydney Club  and hotel Scene , forming his own group The John Charter Group, working in Vietnam and America with Digger Revell and many others.
