Sharkmouth Russell Morris

Sharkmouth is the new album by legendary Australian singer-songwriter of the 60's and 70's Russell Morris known for hits like the Real Thing, Sweet Sweet Love, Wings OF A Eagle, Rachel and many others. This album was recorded at Roof top Studio and Little Red jet Studio and the songs on it are based on the elusive Australian characters, stories and legends as well as his grandmother who lived to be 93 telling him stories about her youth and what things were like back then. It's an BRILLIANT album, the songs are BRILLIANT and Russell Morris is just BRILLIANT on this album which he sounds great on it as well as singing BRILLIANTLY which he is still in great touch at the age of 64. this album has been released since October 2012 which it has done very very well which as of this writing it has gone to number 6 on the Australian charts and that is just AMAZING as this is his very first top 10 album as it has been his first chart album since 1991 with A Thousand sons as well as first top 40 album since Bloodstone in 1971. This album was actually rejected by almost every record company in Australia but Robert Rigby an executive for Fanfare Records who was the only who had heard the potential which he released it. It's produced by Mitch Cairns and among the performers who play on it Renee Geyer, Diesel, Australian country singer Troy Cassar Daley and Chris Wilson etc. It's an must for Australian music fans as well as Russell Morris fans and I am sure you love this album and be impressed by it. I am giving this 5 stars and it's in the shops now.
