Normie the Normie Rowe Story

Normie The Normie Rowe Story is the autobiography of legendary Australian singer Normie Rowe. In this book Normie talks about his upbringing in Melbourne, began performing at age 12 playing the dances around Melbourne, began recording for the Sunshine label in 1965 which he would have his very first hit with It Ain't Necessarily So as he would achieve a string of top 10 hits throughout the mid 60's including the number 1 double sided hit Que Sera Sera/Shakin All Over in 1965 as it was the biggest selling single in Australia for that year and was at that one of Australia's biggest musical talents, got drafted in the army in 1968 which he was shipped out to Vietnam, his pop career was over when he came back from Vietnam, the sad loss of his son Adam, doing acting and many others. It is a AWESOME and a BRILLIANT book with great stories told by Normie and I loved it which I enjoyed reading and also the book was co written with Australian music journalist Ed Nimmervoll. It is hard to believe it is 48 years since Normie Rowe came on the Australian music scene and he is still going strong after all these years as he still tours in the clubs around Australia. This book is a must for any Australian music fans as well as fans of Normie Rowe and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
