Roy Orbison The Last Concert 25th Anniversary Edition
ON December 4th 1988 American singer Roy Orbison performed at the Front Row Theatre in Highland Heights Ohio which he wowed the crowd doing his famous hits and he still had the fire and the passion which sadly it was to be the very last show Roy Orbison would ever do as 2 days on December 6th 1988 Roy would die from a heart attack in Hendersonville Tennessee aged 52. The last concert is released again on CD which it's the 25th anniversary edition which not only has the live concert but it has the photos which was taken by Janet Macoska as well as the very last Roy Orbison interview with Tony Weber that was filmed after the shown and there is also great live videos from shows @ the Reseda Country Club on Reseda California in 1981 and the Rockerfeller Hall in Houston Texas in 1986. It is a FANTASTIC and a BRILLIANT live Cd with great stuff on it and it sounds so good and the liner notes was done by ALex Orbison (Roy's son)who was also the executive producer on the CD with Chuck Fleckenstein. This live CD was actually released 3 years ago but as this Cd has been extended due to the 25th anniversary and it's amazing all this great stuff on it. It is hard to believe that it was 25 years last Friday when Roy Orbison passed away but the great music he made lives on today and it is still sounds so good to this day. This CD/DVD is a must for any Roy Orbison fans and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
The very last song of Roy Orbison on this day was RUNNING SCARED, but due to recording problems this is NOT on this album. Maybe someone has, say, fan-recordings???
