This is the autobiography of American singer and founding member of the legendary American rock band Blondie Debbie Harry and in this book she talks about her upbringing in New Jersey, moving to New York in the early 60's, performed with the National Uniphonenic Church and Bank and The Wind and the Willows, worked at Max's Kansas City and the Playboy Club, sang with the Stilettos, played with Angel and the Snake, formed the band Blondie who would achieve great success with hit singles In the Flesh( Australian hit only), Heart Of Glass, Call Me, Rapture as well as hit album Parallel Lines, Eat To The Beat and others, the New York Scene of the 70's, working with people like David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Mike Chapman, Television, Andy Warhol and others, doing movies like Videorome, Union City etc, her solo career including the big hit I want That Man and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and AWESOME stories as well as very Impressive, entertaining and an very enjoyable read indeed and I enjoyed it very much. Blondie are still around which they did an tour with Elvis Costello and Debbie Harry has done an book of the USA recently which she has 2 more appearances promoting her book. This is an must for Blondie fans as well as fans of the 70's and 80's and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed.
