Pavarotti
Tonight I went to the movies at Balmoral Cinema to see the documentary about legendary Italian tenor singer Luciano Pavarotti and it talks his beginnings as well as starting out in musical theatre as well as doing the tours which would achieve great success as well as the person behind the image and it has interviews with his first and second wives, his 3 daughters from his first marriage, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreas, Bono from U2, Barry Goldsmith (Music Promoter), opera singer Madelyn Renee and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB as well as sad, very funny and very entertaining with Brilliant and Superb interviews and footage. It's directed by Ron Howard who also produced it with Brian Grazer, Nigel Sinclair, Michael Rosenberg and Jeanne Elfant Festa and Executive Producers were David Blackman and Dickon Stainer. It's been 12 years since Pavarotti's passing but has left behind a lot of great music which has stood the test of time and is still appreciated to this day and I have to say Ron Howard has done an great job with this documentary just as he did with the Beatles documentary Eight Days A Week 3 years ago and You will be impressed with this documentary which had great stuff in it as some have never been before. This is an must for opera fans as well as Pavarotti fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT.
