The Australian and New Zealand acts on the charts that week were at number 11 Slim Dusty with Duncan, at number 12 Norman Gunston aka Garry McDonald with Kiss Army, at number 21 AC/DC with You Shook Me All Night Long, at 23 Russell Morris with the Rubes with the re-recorded version of Hush which he did with Somebody's Image in 1968, at number 26 Split Enz with One Step Ahead, at number 28 Flowers before becoming Icehouse with We Can Get Together, number 29 Mondo Rock with State of the Heart written by Eric McCusker and at number 39 Paul Kelly and the Dots with Billy Baxter. Among the other acts on the charts Abba had 2 songs on the charts that week with On & On & On at number 36 and at number 40 the Winner Takes It All, the Rolling Stones at number 16 with She's So Cold from the Emotional Rescue album, Suzi Quatro at number 6 with Rock Hard, at number 18 Queen with Another One Bites The Dust, at number 7 Stevie Wonder with Master Blaster and at number 19 Kenny Rogers with Lady written by Lionel Richie. On the album charts at number 1 John Lennon who was tragically shot and killed an month before on December 8th 1980 with Double Fantasy, at number 2 the Police with Zenyatta Mondatta, at Number 3 Willie Nelson with Always and at number 4 Barbra Streisand with Guilty which was produced by Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees, Alby Galuten and Karl Richardson and among the other acts on the charts AC/DC with Back In Black which was the first album with Brian Johnson after the passing of Bon Scott the year before at number 17, Neil Diaond with the Jazz Singer at number 18, at number 10 Flowers who would become Icehouse with the album Ice House, the Eagles at number 8 with Eagles Live and at number 5 Stevie Wonder with Hotter Than July.
