My Effin Life by Geddy Lee
This is the autobiography of Canadian musician and founding member of the legendary Canadian rock band Rush Geddy Lee and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Toronto Canada, the passing of his father in 1965, his parents' surviving the holocaust during World War 2, got his first guitar at 13 as well as getting his first bass guitar, played in an band with a few of the neighbourhood kids, joined Rush in 1968 which he was actually fired in may 1969 but came back later that year which he would be with Rush until 2015, the band achieving great success with albums including Fly By Night, Caress Of Steel, 2112, Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures and many others, working with KISS, UFO, Nazareth, The Foo Fighters, Thin Lizzy and the Who, the passing of Neil Peart in 2020 and many others. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it's well worth an read. Geddy did an tour of North America and the UK to promote the book and this is an must for fans of the 70's and 80's rock as well as fans of Rush which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
