4IP Top 40 charts April 1975

This is from the Telegraph April 18th 1975 and this is the 4IP Top 40 charts with Skyhooks at number 1 with Horror Movie which was from the Living In The 70's album, Frankie Valli at number 2 with My Eyes Adored You, Donny and Marie Osmond at number 3 with Morning Side of the Mountain and Barry Manilow at number 4 with Mandy. New entries in the charts that week were Minnie Ripperton with Lovin You at number 40, BJ Thomas at number 36 with Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song, Queenslander Kevin Johnson at number 34 with Man of the 20th Century, Suzi Quatro who has just toured Australia at number 33 with Your Mama Won't Like Me written by Queenslander Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, Elton John at number 28 with Philadelphia Freedom, Pilot at number 22 with January and Al Martino at number 18 with To The Door Of The Sun. The other Australian acts in the charts that week were Richard Clapton with Girls On the Avenue at number 35, Daryl Braithwaite at number 27 with his first solo single which his version of the Cilla Black song You're My World, Graeme Connors at number 25 with Dakota, Sherbet at number 21 with Summer Love, Ray Gibson at number 10 with Was I Blind, Olivia Newton John at number 7 with the song written by John Rostll of the Shadows If You Love Me Let Me Know and Bob Hudson at number 6 with The Newcastle Song.
