Before Dawn

This afternoon I went to Dendy Cinema Coorparoo to see the Australian movie Before Dawn. It's 1916 in Western Australia and Jim Collins(Levi Miller) who is working on his family's sheep station enlisted in the Army which he fights with the 44th Batallion in the Western Front and going the situation of the muddy , ruthless and unforgiving nature of war which Jim is starting to carry the weigh heavily which also leaves him with an sense of guilt with some of the batillion troops getting killed including Harry and getting the news that his father has died and in the moment during of the enduring battles that Australia was involved Jim must decide either to risk or living with the guilt of another soldier being killed and it gets interesting. It is FANTASTIC with FANTASTIC acting by Levi Miller, Travis Jeffrey, Myles Pollard, Tim Franklin, Jordan Dulieu, Ed Oxenbould, Stephen Peacocke and peter Sullivan. it is directed by Jordon Prince Wright and he also did the writing with Jarrad Russell. This is one of the best Australian films and as we approach Anzac Day in 18 days time it's important to watch an film like this reminds us about how those Australian soliders getting through these situations with survival, hope and redemption as well as the sacrifice the soldiers gave their lives for our Country as well as to understand it. I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed. Let's Support Australian movies.
