4BK Top 40 January 1965

This is from the Courier Mail January 8th 1965 and this was the 4BK top 40 charts with the Beatles at number 1 with I Feel Fine which had the feedback on it, Julie Rogers at number 2 with the Wedding, Johnny Rivers at number 3 with his version of the Harold Dorman 1960 hit Mountain Of Love and Gene Pitney at number 4 with I'm Gonna Be Strong. The new entries in the charts that week were Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs at number 19 with their version of the Judy Garland song Over The Rainbow, Tommy Roe at number 28 with Party Girl, Peter and Gordon at number 37 with the song written by Del Shannon while in Australia I Go To Pieces, Del Shannon at number 38 with Keep Searchin and the Searchers who toured with Del Shannon and Peter and Gordon on the Starlift 64 Australian tour September and October 1964 at number 40 with their version of the Malvina Reynolds song What Have They Done To The Rain and besides from Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs who was also in the charts with Sick and Tired which was their version of the Fats Domino song at 25 the other Australian acts in the charts that week were The Blue Jays at number 14 with Pathfinder, Little Pattie at number 22 with Surfin Time Again, Jay Justin at number 23 with Reminiscing, Lucky Starr at number 29 with the Three Trees and Bryan Davies at number 33 with the song written by Barry Gibb I Don't Like To Be Alone.
