This is from the Telegraph January 2nd 1975 and this was the 4IP Top 40 charts with Glen Campbell at number 1 with a cover of the 1950 hit for Pee Wee King Bonaparte's Retreat, John Denver at number 2 with Back Home Again, Abba at number 3 with Honey Honey and Olivia Newton John at number 4 with the song written by Peter Allen and Jeff Barry and Produced by member of the Strangers and the Shadows John Farrar I Love You I Honestly Love You. The new entry in the charst that week were the Carpenters at number 39 with their version of the 1961 hit for Motown girl group the Marvelettes Please Mr Postman and besides from Olivia Newton John the other Australian acts in the chats that week were The Moir Sisters at number 8 with Good Morning How Are You, Jigsaw at number 11 with A Rose Has To Die, Darryl Braithwaite at number 15 with his version of the Cilla Black 1964 hit You're My World, Brian may Orchestra at number 25 with Theme From Rush, Helen Reddy at number 26 with Angie Baby, William Shakespeare at number 27 with the song written and produced by Harry Vanda and George Young My Little Angel and at number 30 with Can't Stop Myself From Loving You, Sherbet at number 33 with Silvery Moon, Gary Shearston at number 38 with I Get A Kick Out Of You and Brian Cadd at number 40 with Let Go.
