The Life of the Riley is the documentary DVD about legendary American blues musician BB King. In this documentary BB King talks about his upbringing in Mississippi as he had a difficult one as his mother passed as well as working on a farm at the age of 7, experiencing racism, working on radio, begin singing in a choir as well as getting a guitar at the age 12, working on Sonny Boy Williamson's radio show, began record in 1949 and would become one of the influential musicians in the history of blues music who turned his life around going against the odds as well as the racial situation as well as overcoming the critics in the entertainment scene to become the King Of The Blues and it has interviews with people like Bill Wyman, Leon Russell, Paul Rodgers of Free, Dr John, Bono, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Buddy Guy, John Mayall, Bonnie Raitt and many others. It is a MAGNIFICENT, BRILLIANT and an IMPRESSIVE DVD with great stories and great footage and the extra features on the DVD are the extended interviews and an live show at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2011 which it looks great as well. This documentary was narrated by actor Morgan Freeman, Jon Brewer was the director, producer and executive producer(with Tina France), Laura Royko and Harriet Glynn was the associate producers. BB King is still recording and touring at the age of 88 and still going strong which it is great to see.
