The Who Hits 50

The Who Hits 50 is the new compilation of legendary British rock group the Who. In this double CD it has many of the classic Who hits like My Generation, Pinball Wizard, I Can See For Miles, Who Are You, Won't Get Fooled Again, You Better You Bet and many others as well as the live track Summertime Blues, as well as song called Zoot Suit which they did as the High Numbers as well as their version of the Last Time in 1967 and the new song Be Lucky. It is AWESOME, ROCKIN and BRILLIANT with great songs which holds up so well to this day with timeless quality and the new song is just FANTASTIC with the great singing by Roger Daltrey. Bill Curbishley and Robert Rosenberg, Jon Astley did the remastering at Close to the Edge, Howie Edelson did the liner notes and interviews and Design and art Direction by Richard Evans. It is 50 years when the Who were formed and they are still going strong with surviving members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend despite the sad losses of Keith Moon and John Entwistle and they are about to do an tour to celebrate 50 years as they'll be touring England and Ireland in 2 weeks and an American tour next year so let's hope they come to Australia. This CD is a must for fans of the Who as well as fans of 60's and 70's music which I give it 5 stars and it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
