Little Stevie's 60's Sensation show @ Easts Leagues Club

On Friday night December 5th I went to Easts Leagues Club to see Little Stevie's 60's Sensation as it was their debut show there and I have seen Steven perform with Brandi and the Badcats and his other band Little Stevie and the Tail Fins. I caught two buses to Coorparoo as I caught a bus from Cannon Hill to Carindale and then caught a Bus from Carindale to Coorparoo which I walk to Easts Leagues Club and for Dinner I had Nachos as well as having for desert Muffins and Ice Cream. The show started @ 7.30pm which they did 4 sets of great 60's songs from Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hollies, Searchers, Easybeats, Billy Thorpe, Kinks, The Animals, Manfred Mann, Small Faces and Creedence as well as in the first 2 sets the band wore waist suits and ties and the last 2 sets wore different clothes which Stephen wore an pyschdelic shirt as well as people were requesting songs which it's good to see. the show finished @ 11.30pm which I thanked Stephen, Dad picked me and came home. It was a great show which everyone had a great time including myself and Stephen and the band which they played and sounded great too and also I saw Shaun from the Rockin Bodgies, Kelly and Warren. To those who want to see them please do yourself a favour and see them as they put on a great show doing great songs from a great era and also he has his other band Little Stevie and the Tail Fins go see them as well. Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

This is the book about 2 iconic Australian music shows that were on Channel 0 (now Channel 10)back in the 60's The Go Show on August 4th 1964 which lasted for 3 years and 222 episodes until September 17th 1967 and Kommotion hosted by Ken Sparkes was on from December 13th 1965 until September 28th 1967 after 356 episodes and in the book it has the info about both shows as well as episode guides as well the discography of both the Go label and the Kommotion label and the people who worked on Kommotion including Denise Drysdale and Molly Meldrum and many others including some memorabilla and photos of the artists.
