Sound Man by Glyn Johns

Sound Man is the autobiography of legendary British record producer and engineer Glyn Johns. In this book he talks about his upbringing in Epsom, joining the church choir at age 8, forming a group called the Presidents, worked as a engineer for IBC Studios in 1959, working and producing with acts like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Tho Who, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Steve Miller Band, The Small Faces, The Clash, Ryan Adams and Band Of Horses and many others, It is an EXCELLENT, BRILLIANT and an GREAT book with great stories which was FANTASTIC and impressive and very entertaining and very enjoyable as well which I enjoyed it. Glyn Johns is still producing as he has produced the solo album of Benmont Tench from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers called You Should Be So Lucky and he was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012. This book is a must for rock music fans of the 60's and 70's and I am giving this 4 and a half stars which it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
