Soul Boys Of The Western World Spandau Ballet

Soul Boys Of the Western World is the documentary about legendary British 80's band Spandau Ballet which it is on DVD. In this documentary the members of the group Tony Hadley, John Keeble, Steve Norman, Martin Kemp and Gary Kemp talk about their upbringings in working class London, musical influences, getting together in the 70's as they were called different names like Gentry eventually becoming Spandau Ballet, playing places like Blitz, having Steve Dagger as manager, Began recording for Chrysalis Records which they would achieve many hit records throughout the 80's including True, Gold and Communication, the touring, the 80's scene, the break-up in 1990, reuniting in 2009 and many others. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and an FANTASTIC DVD with great stories which it's very impressive and with great footage as well as the band's home videos which looks great. Steve Dagger and Scott Millaney were the producer, Kate Griffiths is the archive producer, Chris Duveen did the editing and George Hencken who has done work on documentaries like East End Babylon and Oil City Confidential directed this documentary. Spandau Ballet are going back on the road and they will be touring Australia next year in May. This DVD is a must for Spandau Ballet fans as well as 80's music fans and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
