Lonely Boy Steve Jones

Lonely Boy is the autobiography of British guitarist and founding member of the legendary British 70's Punk rock group the Sex Pistols Steve Jones. In this book he talks about his life in Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush in West London, never knowing his real father, the abuse he suffered at the hands of his stepfather, how music and fashion saved him from a life of crime, forming the band with Paul Cook his schoolmate that would become the Sex Pistols, the success they would achieve as well as the controversies, his self imposed exile in New York and Los Angeles, his problems with drugs and alcohol and many others. It's an AWESOME and an FANTASTIC book with AWESOME stories told by Steve and Pretenders member Chrissie Hynde does the Foreword. Steve Jones is living in Los Angeles where he hosts Jonesy's Jukebox on KLOS 95.5 from noon to 2pm weekdays. It's been 41 years since the Sex Pistols were on the scene and they last performed together in 2008 and their music is still around which holds up very well to this day. This book is an must for 70's music fans as well as punk music fans and Sex Pistols fans and I give it 5 stars. It's in the shops so do yourselves and BUY IT which you should enjoy this book which it's an great read.
