4IP Top 40 charts May 1975
This is from the Telegraph May 1st 1975 and this was the 4IP Top 40 charts with Frankie Valli at number 1 with My Eyes Adored You, Skyhooks at number 2 with Horror Movie which was from the iconic rock album Living In The Seventies, Pilot at number 3 with January and at number 4 Al Martino with To The Door of The Sun. New entries in the chart that week were Skyhhoks at number 32 with Ego Is Not A Dirty Word which was also the title track o0f the album of the same name which was the next album, Allison McCallum at number 34 with Excuse Me, Olivia Newton at number 36 with the song written by John Farrar from the Australian group the Strangers Have You Never Been Mellow and the Eagles at number 40 with The Best of My Love which was from the On The Border album. Among the other Austrlian acts on the chart that week were Bob Hudson at number 11 with the Newcastle Song, Sherbet at number 12 with Summer Love, Olivia Newton John at number 13 with If You Love Me written by John Rostill from the British rock group the Shadows, Graeme Connors at number 21 with Dakota, Kevin Johnson at number 24 with Man Of the 20th Century, Richard Clapton at number 26 with Girls On The Avenue, Ray Gibson at number 28 with Was I Blind and Ross Ryan at number 31 with Blue Chervolt Ballerina.
