Believe Cher

In 1998 legendary American singer Cher released the album which went to number 4 in the USA, number 7 in the UK and number 13 in Australia as it was her first dance album and produced by Mark Taylor, Brian Rawling, Junior Vasquez and Todd terry. From the album it had 4 singles the title track which was number 1 in the USA, UK and Australia, Strong Enough going to number 57 in the USA, number 5 in the UK and number 11 in Australia, All Or Nothing going to number 38 in the USA, number 12 in the UK and number 62 in Australia and Dov'e l'amore going to number 21 in the UK and number 49 in Australia and also the album was dedicated to her ex husband Sonny Bono who passed early that year. The album is out on CD again as it was 25 Years ago late last year when it came on and on the deluxe edition that is out now it has remixes of the songs including Believe and Strong Enough. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC songs which they hold up very well today and still sounding great to this day as Believe still gets played on the radio as well as Strong Enough and as we all know that Cher is getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame this year which she truly deserves it for the impact she has made on music since the 60's up to now. This is an must for Cher fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
