This is from the Sunday Mail January 30th 1966 and until 1990 when it became B105 4BK was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time which among their disc jockeys were Bob Wills who had been with 4BC joined 4BK which he was on 4pm-7pm Monday to Friday and did the show Party Beat on Saturdays from 7.15pm until Midnight, Bill O'Brien was on Sundays with his own show from 7.50am until 1.30pm playing the latest and greatest records from aorund the world, Graham Kerr's Kitchen was on at 8.45am weekdays and the serials were on Tuesdays from 9am to 10.30am including Portia Faces Life and Dr Paul.

This afternoon I went to the Events Cinema in Carindale to see the biographical movie A Complete Unknown which it's about the iconic American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. It's New York 1961 an 19 year old man named Bob Dylan (Timothee Chamalet) arrives in New York from Minnesota with his guitar and visits folk singer Woody Guthrie (Scoot McNairy) in hospital where he also meets fellow folk singer Pete Seeger(Edward Norton) which he stays with Pete and his family and Bob starts getting into the folk music scene in New York where he meets Sylvie Russo (Elle Fanning) at an concert as well as meeting fellow folk singer Joan Baez(Monica Barbaro) which he gets into relationships with them . He also starts recording for Columbia Records which he starts to achieve success which he is finding it hard to deal with it and then in 1965 wants to change his music as he goes Electric which starts to gets interesting. On July 13th 1973 British rock band Queen released their debut album Queen which went to number 24 in the UK, number 83 in the USA and number 77 in Australia which was the band produced it with John Anthony and Roy Thomas Baker and there was 2 singles that was not hits Keep Yourself Alive and Liar even though Keep Yourself Alive was reissued in 1975. The album has been reissued again which is now out as Queen 1 Collector's Edition as I am reviewing the Deluxe Edition 2 CD one and on the 1st Cd it has the original tracks from the original album and on the 2nd CD it has different takes of the songs which some were unused masters as well as guide vocals as well as an song called See What A Fool I've Been which was the De Lane Lea Test Session. Little Steely Brothers @ Wynnum Manly Leagues Club

Last night I went to Wynnum Manly Leagues Club to see the tribute group Little Steely Brothers who are from Brisbane which it was my first time seeing them and it also my first time seeing an show @ Wynnum Manly Leagues Club for nearly 11 years since Saturday May 10th 2014 when I saw the Wickety Wak members (Tony, Greg and Rob along with Laura) live as it was long overdue for me to see an show there. Dad took me to the bus stop @ Cannon Hill, drank Coke with no sugar, caught bus to Wynnum and walk to Wynnum Manly Leagues Club. Went to the Grill Restaurant, rang Dad, Ate Chessy Garlic Bread for Entree, Had Steak, Chips and Salad for dinner , drank Coke with No Suagr, ate Mississippi Mudcake, walk upstairs, went inside and write notes. This is from the Sunday Truth January 23rd 1966 and now the talk back station as it's the only commercial one here in Brisbane 4BC was one of the music radio stations in Brisbane at the time in the 60s' which among their disc jockeys was Geoff Atkinson who hosted the Top 40 Go Show which the next day Monday he along with Tom Jones and Herman(Peter Noone) of Hermans Hermits hosted the show at 4pm at the Lennon's Hotel as both Hermans Hermits and Tom Jones performed in Brisbane that time at the City Hall.

On Tuesday night January 14th I went to QPAC concert Hall to see iconic American singer Dionne Warwick which was my first time. Dad took me to the bus stop, caught bus to South Bank, went to the Plough Inn, rang Dad, had Beef Nachos for dinner, drank Pepsi Max, went to Food Court, ate Triple Tim Tam Sundae, saw Brad and Celia who I knew from church which I met their daughter Matilda and walk to QPAC. Put Bag in the Cloak Room, went inside and use mobile. The show started after 7pm with support act singer-songwriter Emily Hatton came on stage which she did an 20 minute set doing her versions of the Kenny Rogers song the Gambler and the Elvis Presley song Can't Help Falling In Love as well as her own songs and there was an interval which I had an Coke with No Sugar and went inside. then at about 8pm Dionne Warwick came on stage which for the hour and 10 minutes performed her classic hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's starting off with Walk On By, Anyone Who Had A Heart ...

This is the new album by Ringo and it was recorded at Sound Emporium Studios , East Iris Studios and ElectroMagnetic East in Nashville and the Village Studio Z in Los Angeles. It was produced by T Bone Burnett with Daniel Tashian and Bruce Sugar as co producers and the songs on the album are mainly written by T Bone Burnett including one with Billy Swan known for the hit I Can Help, Billy Swan wrote one song and Ringo wrote one song with Bruce Sugar called Thankful which he produced it with T Bone Burnett and Bruce Sugar which he sang it with Alison Krauss and also sang with Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Lucius and Larkin Poe. It is FANTASTIC with FANTASTIC songs with an country feel with great singing by Ringo who is still sounding at 84 and he will be touring the USA with the All Star Band including Colin Hay and Steve Lukather in June. Unlocking The Doors @ Cleveland Sands

Last night I went to the Cleveland Sands Hotel where I saw the Doors tribute act Unlocking The Doors as it was my first time seeing it. Dad took me to the bus stop, caught bus to Cleveland and walk to the Cleveland Sands Hotel. Went to the bistro, Rang Dad, Had Chicken Parmigiana, chips and salad for dinner, drank Coke with No Sugar, had for desert Warm Choclate Fudge Cake with Ice Cream, paid for my meal and went to the room. Use my mobile and had an Coke with No Sugar to drink. The show started after 8.30pm with the band Unlocking the Doors coming on stage which they have an female keyboard player which in the first set did the classic Doors including Love Me Two Times, Riders On The Storm, Hello I Love You as well as some of the Doors album tracks including the End and there was an interval which some of the members of the band said hello to some of the audience members as well as having Pork Carckle and Coke With No Sugar. Last night I went to Carina Leagues Club for New Years Eve where I saw Boombox 80's doing songs of the 80's which it was my first time seeing them. Dad took me to the club, went to the Dine Restaurant where I had steak, chips and Salad for dinner, drank Coke With No Sugar, read Anthony Field book and use mobile. The show started after 8pm with Boombox 80's coming on stage doing the classic hits from the 80's by the B-52's, Belinda Carlisle, Madonna, Starship, Whitney Houston, Duran Duran,Guns N Roses, Van Halen and many others which in the 3 sets the band members which wearing the gear people wore in the 80's and during the first interval the fireworks went off at 9pm and then at midnight to celebrate the new year which the show ended before midnight. After the countdown bought myself an Coke With Ni Sugar, drank it, Dad picked me up and came home. This afternoon I went to the Dendy Cinema Coorparoo to see the movie The Room Next Door. Ingrid (Julianne Moore) who is an Novelist is informed by her friend Stella(Sarah Demeestere) that Martha (Tilda Swinton) has cancer during an book signing and Ingrid meets up with Martha in Hospital as they have not seen each other for years which they talk about their lives as Martha was an journalist as well as being estranged from her daughter Michelle and Martha's cancer is terminal which she wants to end her life as Ingrid supports her and they go to an country house which gets interesting. It is excellent and amazong with Fantatsic acting by Julianne Moore, Tilda Swinton, John Turturro and Sarah Demeestere. It is directed by Pedro Almodovar who also wrote it and it was produced by Esther Garcia and Agustin Almodovar. This is one of Julianne Moore's finest perforamnces she has given and does it so very well as Tilda Swinton who does the role so well. I am giving this 4 stars and...
