Out Of The Blue by Anthony Field

This is the memoir of the member of the Australian children's group The Wiggles as well as an member of the Australian group the Cockroaches Anthony Field and in this book he talsk abour his upbringing in Sydney, forming the Cockroaches who would achieve great success with hits including Wait Up, She's The One, Some Kind Of Girl and others, serving in the army, studying early childhood education, formed the children's group The Wiggles in 1991 who have gone on to great success in Australia as well as America and the rest of the world with albums including It's A Wiggly World, the line up changes, his issues with depression and many others. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with Amazing and FANTASTIC stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read. Anthony is still with the Wiggles as he is the remaining founding member in the current line up which includes his daughter Lucia and will be playing in Tamworth on January 21st as well as touring Australia in March and April on the Bouncing Balls Tour which including 2 shows in Brisbane at QPAC on April 5th and April 6th at 10am, 12.30pm and 3pm as well as touring the UK in May and the USA and Canada in June. This is an must for fans of both the Cockroaches and the Wiggles and I am giving this 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

This is the book about 2 iconic Australian music shows that were on Channel 0 (now Channel 10)back in the 60's The Go Show on August 4th 1964 which lasted for 3 years and 222 episodes until September 17th 1967 and Kommotion hosted by Ken Sparkes was on from December 13th 1965 until September 28th 1967 after 356 episodes and in the book it has the info about both shows as well as episode guides as well the discography of both the Go label and the Kommotion label and the people who worked on Kommotion including Denise Drysdale and Molly Meldrum and many others including some memorabilla and photos of the artists.
