Little Steely Brothers @ Wynnum Manly Leagues Club

Last night I went to Wynnum Manly Leagues Club to see the tribute group Little Steely Brothers who are from Brisbane which it was my first time seeing them and it also my first time seeing an show @ Wynnum Manly Leagues Club for nearly 11 years since Saturday May 10th 2014 when I saw the Wickety Wak members (Tony, Greg and Rob along with Laura) live as it was long overdue for me to see an show there. Dad took me to the bus stop @ Cannon Hill, drank Coke with no sugar, caught bus to Wynnum and walk to Wynnum Manly Leagues Club. Went to the Grill Restaurant, rang Dad, Ate Chessy Garlic Bread for Entree, Had Steak, Chips and Salad for dinner , drank Coke with No Suagr, ate Mississippi Mudcake, walk upstairs, went inside and write notes. The show started @ 8pm with Little Steely Brothers coming on Stage which they did 2 set performing songs by the Doobie Brothers, Little River Band, Steely Dan, the Beach Boys and many others as well as solo ones by Don Henley and Glenn Frey and there was an interval which I had an Coke with No Suagr to drink as well people dancing and having an great time with the lead singer wearing an hat. I left at 10.34pm, went outside, Mum and Dad picked me up and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which everyone had an great time including me as I enjoyed it and the band were FANTASTIC which they played great as well as sounding great with great harmonies as well as great guitar playing as the musicianship of the band doing an great job doing the songs which they did it very well. I look forward to seeing them again in the future and if you have not seen them please do yourselves an favour and SEE THEM which you will be impressed and entertained. Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
