on Thursday night I went to Redland Perfroming Arts Centre to see legendary Australian country singer-songwriter Graeme Connors which it was my first time seeing him. Dad took me to the bus stop, caught bus to Cleveland, went to the Cleveland Sands Hotel, rang Dad, had Chicken Parmy, Chips and Salad for dinner, ate Bacon Chessy Garlic Bread, drank Coke with No Sugar, ate Choclate Brownie, paid for my meal and walk to the Redland Performing Arts Centre. Bought 2 CD's and went inside. the show started at 7.30pm with Graeme Connors coming out to say a few words about the Redlands Country Music Club as well as how he was invited to play at the venue and then the support act Kevin, Allan, Jenny and Delia came out to do an few songs including Hey Good Looking, Walk Right Back and Rose Garden and there was an Interval which I had a Coke with No Sugar to drink. Graeme Connors came out after 8.20pm with his guitarist and drummer which for the hour I was there he performed songs that he's written over the years including A Little Further North and Let the Canefields Burn as well as telling stories about his career including leaving Mackay December 1973 starting his career working with Kamahl in Toowoomba and playing with Sherbet, Richard Clapton and the La De Das as well as working with Kris Kristofferson and going to America and also mentioned that he has a new album coming out. I left after 9.30pm, went outside, Mum and Dad picked me up and came home. It was an FANTASTIC show which everyone enjoyed themselves including myself and Graeme sounded great as well as very entertaining giving the audience an great time.
