Smurfs
This afternoon I went to the Cineplex cinema South Bank to see the movie Smurfs. Papa Smurf (John Goodman) is the leader of the Smurfs who has Smurfette (Rhianna), Brainy(Xolo Mariduena), Hefty(Alex Winter) and Worry Smurf(Billie Lourd) amongst others as No Name(James Corden) who feels he doesn't have a talent and Papa Smurf has been taken by Gargamel and his brother Razamel (both voiced JP Karliak) which Smurfette along with the other Smurfs go looking for him going through the real world including Australia which they would encounter people on the journey including Papa Smurf's brother Ken (Nick Offerman) and Mama Poot leade of the Snooterpoots(Natasha Lyonne) which gets interesting and obstacles as well to save Papa. It is excellent, very funny and very entertaining with excellent acting by John Goodman, Rhianna, Xolo Mariduena, Alex Winter, Billie Lourd, James Corden, JP Karliak, Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Kurt Russell and Jimmy Kimmel and it is an feel good family entertainment which should appeal to all ages even the mums and dads who would have watched the Smurfs TV series back in the 80's which considering an different time now but I think the new Smurfs movie has a quality that should be enjoyed and loved by today's kids which it is an must for the family as it is the school holidays here in Queensland at the moment. It is directed by Chris Miller, produced by Rhianna, Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith and Ryan Harris and Pam Brady did the writing. I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the cinemas at the moment so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT and you will be impressed, amazed and entertained.
