So Far is the autobiography of Australian singer Shannon Noll. In this book Shannon talks about his growing up on the farm in Condobolin NSW having been in Orange, started singing as an teenager which he got his first guitar at 12, played in an band called Cypress, doing odd jobs as well as working at the pub, losing his father Neil in an accident in 2001, auditions for Australian Idol which he finished 2nd place to Guy Sebastian and goes on to have the success he has achieved with hits singles like What ABout Me, Drive, Shine,Lift and others as well as successful albums. It's an BRILLIANT and an EXCELLENT book to read with great stories and impressed with it. This book was co written with Alan Whiticker an non fiction author who has written books on different subjects like Jimmy Barnes's biography Say It Loud, 12 Crimes That Shocked the Nation etc. It's been 9 years since Shannon Noll came on the Australian music scene as the result of Australian Idol and is still going strong and also he will be back on the road in 2013 doing In My Youth. This book is an must for Shannon Noll fans and I give this 5 stars which it's in the shops now.
