Abbey Road by the Beatles
It's 50 years ago this month when the Beatles released the album Abbey Road which went to number 1 in the UK, USA and Australia and from the album had the double sided hit Something/Come Together as well as great tracks on it including Octopus' Garden written and sang by Ringo Starr, Here Comes The Sun written by George Harrison which he sang lead besides from Something which he wrote that too as well as Lennon-McCartney compositions including Oh Darlin, I Want You(She's So Heavy) as well as medleys as well the End with an great drum solo done by Ringo. This album was the last album they recorded even though they had recorded songs that would be on Let It Be as they would release it in 1970 and broke up in that same year but they have left behind great music which we still hear today and it is now released again as it's as I mentioned 50 years when it was released which I am reviewing the double CD edition as there is the single CD which has the original tracks as well as vinyl edition, the Super Deluxe Vinyl Edition and the Limited Super Deluxe Edition. On this double CD edition which the first CD has the original tracks that was on the album and on the 2nd CD it has the demos and outtake versions of the tracks as well as an booklet. It's BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC and SUPERB with great songs which has stood the test of time and still sounding great 50 years later and the album is still great to listen too. Sir George Martin's son Giles produced the mixes for it as well as did the liner notes as well as Sir Paul McCartney. Hard to believe that it's 50 years since this album came out and it is still one of the great albums made which you can keep playing again and again which you can still enjoy it. This an must for Beatles fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll love it.
