Matchbook 30th Anniverary Ian Moss
In 1989 Australian guitarist and singer Ian Moss an member legendary Australian rock band Cold Chisel released his first solo album Matchbook which went to number 1 in Australia as well as number 19 in New Zealand and from the album had the hit singles Tucker's Daughter, Telephone Booth, Out Of The Fire and Mr Rain which 6 of the tracks were written by fellow Cold Chisel bandmate Don Walker and 3 were written by Ian Moss and Don Walker and also Ian Moss produced it with Chris Lord-Alge which also won 4 awards @ the ARIA's awards Album of the Year, Breakthrough Artist Single, Breakthrough Artist Album and Best Male artist. 30 years in 2019 it has been reissued and it is now released as an double CD which on the first CD has the original tracks and on the second CD has live recordings at Hordern Pavilion Sydney as well as the B sides of the singles. It's BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC and SUPERB with AWESOME songs that has stood the test of time and still sounding great today as it did back then with great singing and guitar playing as well as the live recording which are great to listen to. Ian is doing an tour to celebrate 30 years when the album came out in November including Brisbane @ the Tivoli on November 29th as well as shows in 2020 including 2 Cairns shows and be sure you go to it which I'm sure you will be impressed. This is an must for Ian Moss fans as well as Cold Chisel fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will live it.
