Ride Like A Girl

This afternoon I went to the Balmoral Cinema with Mum where we saw Ride Like A Girl which it's the true story of Australian jockey Michelle Payne. Michelle(Teresa Palmer) who as an little girl dreams to be and wants to win the Melbourne Cup which she is trained by her father Paddy(Sam Neil) and had early failures she is getting there but has an serious injury which could have ended it all but is determined to achieve her dream with the love and support of her dad and brother Stevie Payne which he plays himself does not give up and against medical advice as well as the concerns of her siblings goes back to riding and starts to ride the Prince of Penzance which they would go through impossible odds to achieve that is the 2015 Melbourne Cup. It's touching, Inspirational and Brilliant with Top and Brilliant Acting by Teresa Palmer, Sam Neil, Brooke Satchwell who plays Michelle's sister Therese and Stevie Payne with appearances by Magda Szubanksi, Dennis Conrad( Michael Ross Home and Away), Martin Sacks(PJ on Blue Heelers), Anne Phelan(Myra Desmond from Prisoner), Shane Bourne and Mick Molloy. Rachel Griffiths is the director as well as producer with Naomi Cleaver and Felicity Stoward as co producers and also Andrew Knight and Elise McCredle did the screenplay. This is inspirational which reminds us if you want to achieve something in life and no matter what people say as well as the odds is going against you you keep going and prove them wrong as well as to yourself that you can do. Look what Michelle had to through to get through to where she is that is amazing. I give it 4 stars and it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and see it which may you get inspiration from seeing it.
