4BK Top 10 July 1964

This is from the Telegraph July 8th 1964(60 Years ago today) and this was the 4BK top 10 with Cilla Black at number 1 with You're My World, the boy from Moorooka Billy Thorpe with the Aztecs at number 2 with their version of the 1959 hit for The Coasters Poison Ivy, the Beatles at number 3 with the double sided Boys(their version of the Shirelles song with Ringo on lead vocal from the Please Please Me album) and Long Tall Sally the Little Richard song with Paul McCartney on lead vocals, The Beatles at number 4 with Can't Buy me Love, the Shadows at number 5 with the Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt, Peter Paul and Mary who were in Brisbane the month before at numbr 6 with Tell It On The Mountain, The Searchers at number 7 with their version of Clovers song Love Potion No 9 which was from their 1st album Meet The Searchers, Brian Pool and the Tremeloes at number 8 with their version of the Crickets song Someone Someone, Mary Wells at number 9 with the song written by Smokey Robinson My Guy and Bill Haley and His Comets at number 10 with Rock Around The Clock which was reisssued as it 10 years when it was recorded.
