4BK Top 10 July 1966

This is from the Telegraph July 20th 1966 and this was the 4BK top 10 with Frank Sinatra at number 1 with Strangers In The Night which Glen Campbell playing guitar on the song, Verdelle Smith at number 2 with Tar and Cement, The Rolling Stones at number 3 with Paint It Black which Brian Jones playing sitar on it, The Beatles at number 4 with Paperback Writer/Rain, The Easybeats at Number 5 with Come and See Her, Dusty Springfield at number 6 with You Don't Have To Say You Love Me, Crispian St Peters at number 7 with the Pied Piper, Bobby and Laurie at number 8 with their version of the Roger Miller song Hitch Hiker which 2 of the musicians playing on it would be members of the legendary Australian band Daddy Cool drummer Gary Young and Bass player Wayne Duncan, The Mindbenders at number 9 with their version of the Diane and Annita song written by Carole Bayer Sager and Toni Wine A Groovy Kind Of Love with Eric Stewart who would go on to become an member of British band 10cc on lead vocals and the Who at number 10 with Substitute.
