A Very Simple Mind On Tour Derek Forbes

This is the memoir of Scottish musician and member of the legendary Scottish rock band Simple Minds Derek Forbes and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Glasgow, getting his first guitar at age 14, played in bands Switchback, Big Dick and the Four Skins and the Subs, joined Simple Minds in 1978 which he would be there for 7 years as he played om the albums including Life In A Day, Empires and Dance and New Gold Dream as well as the hit singles icluding Love Song, Glittering Prize, Waterfront and Don't You Forget About Me before being sacked in 1985 and rejoining in 1995 until 1998, playing in bands including Propaganda, working with U2, The Rolling Stones, The Pretenders, Peter Gabriel, Icehouse and many others. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it's an worth an read. Derek Forbes did an book tour late last year and has other projects happening and this book is an must for 80's music fans as well as fans fo Simple Minds which I give 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
