This is from the Telegraph February 22nd 1958 and now the classic hits station here in Brisbane 4BH was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the late 1950's which among their disc jockeys were Bill Gates who had just been with the station at that time as well as the one who gave the Bee Gees their name and doing the record hops around Brisbane including the O'Connor Boathouse on North Quay was on Sunday nights doing the Charles Hope Half Hour at 5.30pm and These Were Hits at 6.30pm and Allan Brandt who been at 4KQ and later worked at 4IP also on Sunday at 6pm doing TAA Hit Parade with 160 pounds jackpot to be won.
