Working Class Man Jimmy Barnes(Documentary)

This is the documentary about Australian music legend Jimmy Barnes which this is the follow up to the documentary Working Class Boy in 2018 that talked about his childhood up to the early 70's and in this documentary he talks about leaving Adelaide with a band called Cold Chisel to Armidale to escape his past, going back to Adelaide where they played the live circut including the Largs Piers Hotel, achieving success with Cold Chisel with classic songs including Khe Sahn, You Got Nothing I Want, My Baby, Flame Trees as well as albums including East and Circus Animals before breaking up in 1983, going to a solo career which has been very successful with hit albums including Working Class Man, Freight Train Heart and Two Fires as well as songs including Working Class Man, No Second Prize and Ride the Night Away, his marriage to Jane which it's still going as well as having 4 children, his issues with drugs and alcohol, his recent health scares and many others. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and SUPERB stories and interviews with Jimmy as well as his family including David Campbell which it is well worth watching. Jimmy is doing shows with the Working Class Man tour at the moment including Queensland on March 21st at Sandstone Hotel as well as shows with his wife Jane and this is a must for Jimmy Barnes fans which I give it 5 stars as it is on DVD and in the shops now so please do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
