Elvis An American Trilogy @ Kedron Wavell

On Thursday night I went to Kedron Wavell to see the Elvis An American Trilogy show which it's my 4th time seeing the show and it was my first time seeing a night show at Kedron Wavell in 16 months since Saturday May 10th 2025 when I saw Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont. caught the bus to Chermside from Carindale, walk to Kedron Wavell, had Spagetthi Al Fono for dinner, drank Coke With No Sugar, ate Pavlova and went to the Blue Pacific Room. The show started at 7.10pm with Michael Glaysher coming out doing the early Elvis of the 50's and 60's as he wore different jackets during his set as well as footage and photos of Elvis were shown on 3 different screens and after his set Louis Brown came on stage which the Comeback Special era wearing the black leather gear doing the songs from that show as well as walking into the audience which he finished the 1st set with the song If I Can Dream. There was an interval which I bought an Coke With No Sugar and seeing Barbara who is one of the staff members there. The second set started with Louis doing the Vegas period of Elvis which he would the blue gear that Elvis during the period performing some of the songs of that time including Just Pretend and the Wonder Of You and then Steve Michaels came on which he performed more of the songs which during Big Hunk Of Live some of the audiences went to the front to get the scarves which was helped by Serena who is one of the backing singers in the show with Anita who also handed the guitar to Steve and at the end of the set Michael and Louis joined Steve onstage during an medley of rock and roll songs. The show ended around 9.35pm, stood in line to wait for Michael, Louis and Steve to come out, saw Kevin and Diane, got photos with Michael, Louis and Steve and caught the cab homne. It was an FANTASTIC show which Michael, Louis and Steve did an FANTASTIC job doing the Elvis Presley songs which they did it very well and the back up band were FANTASTIC which played and sounded great as well as the backing singers Anita and Serena who sounded and sang great. I hope they come back again and if you have not seen them please do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed. Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
