Live From the Los Angeles Sports Arena April 26th 1975 by Pink Floyd

On April 26th 1975 iconic British rock band Pink Floyd performed at the Los Angeles Sports Arena at the time when they were coming from the Dark Side of the Moon stardom into the rock stadium act and it was recorded by an man named Mike (Mike The Mic)Millard who was known for recording shows with his recording equipment and it was never released until last year (2025) for the I Wish You Could Be Here boxset which it is out now on it's own. On the CD it has the songs mainly from the Dark Side of The Moon and the Wish You Could Be Here albums as well as 2 tracks that would later be on the 1977 album Animals and others well as among the backing musicans were Venetta Fields as an backing vocalist . It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT songs which holds up very well and the quality is just FANTASTIC which it is well worth lsitening too. The album went to number 46 in the UK, number 82 in the USA and number 43 in Australia. This is a must for Pink Floyd fans and I give it 4 and an half stars which it's in the shops now so please do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
