Heart of The Beast

This afternoon I went to the Dendy Cinema Coorparoo to see the Movie Heart of The Beast. James Belmont(Brad Pitt) who is an retired Army officer along with his dog Odin an combat one flew to an Alaskan lake to camp for a few nights where he meets Watkins(J K Simmons) who was an miner which they get friendly as well as James and Odin have PTSD after experiences in the war and both James and Odin fly out but then James suffers an heart attack which the plane crashes as Odin is ejected but survives and with James walk through to get back to the road which they encounters weather and other animals including an bear. It is FANTASTIC with FANTASTIC acting by Brad Pitt who was one of the producers as well, J.K Simmons and Anna Lambe and it was directed by David Ayer as well as along with Brad Pitt one of the other producers with Olivia Hamilton, Marty Bowen, Richard Raymond and Nick Satriano. It is one of Brad Pitt's best performances and the chemistry between Brad Pitt and the dog Odin was just amazing which they did it so well and it clicked. I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so please do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
