Uptight/Happening 70/71/ 72

This is the book about the iconic Australian music shows from the 60's and 70's Uptight and Happening 70/71/72 and in the book written by TV archivists Milton Hammon and Brett Leslie it talks about the shows history as well as the acts who appeared on it as well the episode guides of the shows which there is some that has no info on certain episodes as well as memories of the shows hosts Ross D Wyllie and Jeff Phillips as well as memories of the acts who appeared on the shows including Peter Robinson from the Strangers, Lily Brett who worked for Go Set the music magazine at the time, Bill Duff who worked for Festival Records and the company Lewis Young Productions and there is plenty of pictures of the acts of the time who appeared on the shows. It's AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with AWESOME stuff as well as FANTASTIC info and it is well worth an read. Brett and Milton who have the books about other Australian music shows the Go Show and Kommotion and Countdown as well as the Young Talent Time with member Greg Poynton have done an AWESOME job doing the book about the shows which considering Uptight ended 56 years ago and Happening 54 years but their place in the history of Australian music TV shows is still remembered after all these years which they are among the greats of Australian music shows with Bandstand, the Go Show, Kommotion and Countdown. This is an must for Australian music fans of the 60's and 70's as well as those who watched those shows which I give it 5 stars as the only way to get the book is email Brett Leslie at bleslie@bigpond.net.au to get on and please do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed as well as bringing back memories for those who grew up in the 60's and 70's watching these 2 shows.
