This is from the Courier Mail March 15th 1963 and this is the 4BK Top 40 charts with Ned Miller at number 1 with From A Jack To A King, Paul and Paula at number 2 with the classic Hey Paula which in the 70's as everyone would know Denise Drysdale and Ernie Sigley did an version of it, The Delltones at number 3 with their version of the Willy and Ruth 1954 song written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller Come A Little Bit Closer as well as the first single for Col Loughnan who became lead singer when Noel Widerberg was killed in an car crash July 7th 1962 and The Four Seasons at number 4 with Walk Like A Man. The New Entires in the charts that week were Roy Orbison with In Dreams at number 22, Duane Eddy at number 28 with Boss Guitar, Johnny Mathis at number 31 with What Will My Mary Say, Brenda Lee at number 36 with Your Used To be, Jack Clement at number 39 with My Voice Is Changing and Richard Chamberlain who was in the TV series Dr Kildare was at number 40 with his version of the Everly Brothers 1958 hit All I Have To Do Is Dream. The other Australian acts besides from the Delltones on the charts that week were The Denvermen at number 9 with the song written by Johnny Devlin and Nat Kipner Surfside , The Dave Bridge Trio at number 20 with the Swan, Frank Ifield at number 26 with the Wayward Wind and Graeme Bell at number 37 with Rag Trade Rag and among the other acts in the charts that week were The Exciters with Tell Him at number 5, Gene Pitney at number 10 with Half Heaven Half Heartache, Dion at number 11 with his version of the Drifters song from the 50's Ruby Baby, The Shadows at number 16 with Dance On, Cliff Richard at number 19 with Bachelor Boy which he wrote it with Bruce Welch from the Shadows which was also from the Summer Holiday movie, The Tornadoes at number 21 with Telstar, Elvis Presley at number 23 with Return To Sender which from the movie he did Girls Girls Girls which he starred with Stella Stevens, Connie Francis at number 29 with I'm Gonna Be Warm This Winter and The Four Seasons for the second time in the charts with Big Girls Don't Cry at number 35.
