New Entries in the charts that week were Normie Rowe and the Playboys at number 22 with The Breaking Point, The Seekers at number 29 with the song written by Paul Simon who was with Art Garfunkel at that time Someday Oneday and Chris Andrews at number 32 with To Whom It May Concerns. The Australian acts on the charts that week were Ray Brown and the Whispers at number 8 with the Tennessee Waltz Song, Normie Rowe and the Playboys for the second time with the double sided hit Tell Him I'm Not Home/Call On Me at number 12, Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs with their version of Dancing In The Street at number 19, the Seekers for the second time in the chart with The Carnival Is Over at number 28 and Tony Worsley at number 34 with Missing You.
