Graham Nash @ QPAC
Last night I went to see the iconic music legend Graham Nash @ QPAC Concert Hall which it was the first time that I got to see him and I didn't want to miss the chance. Dad took me with the bus stop, caught bus, got off at South Bank, went to the Plough Inn, rang Dad, had Steak, chips and Salad for dinner, drank Pepsi Max, went to Kiwi Ice Shop where I ate Movie Bowl Sundae and walk to QPAC. Put Bag in Cloak Room, Bought the Graham Nash Live CD, drank Coke With No Sugar, waited and went inside. The show started at 8.04pm with Graham Nash and his band coming out which started off with Wasted on the Way an Crosby Stills and Nash song as they went through the first with his solo stuff including an song from his latest album Now called A Better Life as well as his 1971 hit Miltary Madness as well as some of the other Crosby Stills and Nash as well as Young and Crosby and Nash and of course the Hollies which he performed the 1966 hit Bus Stop which he told the story about his encounter with Graham Gouldman and listening to the songs he wrote and finished off the set with the Stephen Stills 1971 solo hit Love The One You're With and there was an interval which I had an Coke With No Sugar as well as seeing my old neighbours Tom and Liz as well as meeting Tom's sister, went to the toilet and went back inside. The second set started off with A Simple Man which was from 1971 as well as going the CSN/CSNY songs as well as Crosby and Stills and his other solo work which he made an mention about having an bet with Adam one of his musicians about the song Black Notes as well as telling more stories about the songs including being in Hawaii and there was 3 encores at the end of set which the show ended with the Crosby Stills Nash and Young 1970 hit Ohio. The show ended around 10.10pm, got my bag from the cloak room, went in Liz's car and took me which Tom got off at the Gabba to get his car. It was an FANTASTIC show which he still sounds great and singing great at the age of 82 and is singing better than ever as well as very entertaining getting the crowds singing along to the songs as well as teling stories which was very impressive and got the crowds entertained. I am so glad that I got to see Graham Nash as I have now seen another member of the Hollies live as I saw Eric Haydock with his band live at KedroN Wavell Friday June 23rd 2000, the Hollies twice @ QPAC in 2014 and 2019 which has members Drummer Bobby Elliott and guitarist Tony Hicks and Now Graham Nash which I will forget it. I hope he does come back again and if you have not seen him live please do yourselves and favour and SEE HIM which you will be impressed and amazed by seeing an music icon.
