The New entries in the chart that week Sandy Nelson at number 39 with Drums Are My Beat, Judy Stone at number 32 with I'll Step Down and Percolator by Billy Joe and the Checkmates at number 34 and besides from Judy Stone the other Australian acts in the chart that week were Bryan Davies at number 40 with Slicin Sand Twist, Johnny O'Keefe at number 15 with Sing and Lonnie Lee at number 21 with When The Bells Stop Ringing. Among the other acts in the chart that week Chubby Checker is in it twice with the Twist at number 14 and Let's Twist Again at number 11, Acker Bilk at number 5 with Stranger On The Shore, dion at number 8 with The Wanderer, The Everly Brothers at number 12 with Crying in The Rain written by Carole King and Howard Greenfield, Cliff Richard at number 18 with When The Girl In Your Arms Is The Girl In Your Heart which was from the Young Ones movie, The Tokens at number 23 with the Lion Sleeps Tonight, Bobby RYdell at number 31 with I Wanna Thank You and Charlie Drake at number 35 with My Boomerang Won't Come Back.
