This is the biography of Beatles road Manager Mal Evans and in this book it talks about his upbringing in Liverpool, working in the Post Office as well as an part time bouncer at the Cavern, becoming the road manager for the Beatkes in 1963 which would last until the break up in 1970, his marriage to Lil which they would have 2 children, doing producing as well as songwriting, encounters with Badfinger, Harry Nilsson, Elvis Presley and many others. it is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and AWESOME stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read. It's great to see an book about Mal Evans which it's great to know about him as we did not know an lot about him besides from him being the Beatles roadie and what his life was like as well as the happenings behind the scenes and also with interviews as well as full access to Mal's archives including diaries, manuscripts and memorabillia Beatles scholar Kenneth Womack tells us the story about Mal. It is 48 years since Mal Evans' tragic death which he was shot to death and he was due to put out his memoir but sadly never happened and also his part of the Beatles story should never be forgotten which at least thanks to the book we can learn more about him. Kenneth Womack has done an FANTASTIC job putting this book together and this is an must for Beatles fans so I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
