GANGgajang @ the Koala Tavern

Last Night I went to the Koala Tavern to see legendary Australian rock band GANGgajang which was the first time I have ever seen them live but it is the second time I have seen Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup live as the first time was when he played with the iconic rock band the Angels at the Mansfield Tavern on Friday November 21st 2008. Dad took me to the bus stop, caught bus to Capalaba and walk to the Koala Tavern. Went to the bistro, rang Dad, had Chicken Parmy, Chips and Salad for dinner, drank Pepsi Max, ate Strawberry Cheesecake, went outside, use mobile, went inside, drank Coke with No Sugar and did writing. Yesterday afternoon I went to Redland Performing Arts Centre to legendary Australian singer Marcia Hines which was my 4th time seeing her live and last time was the Apia Good Times Shopw @ QPAC Concert Hall on Friday June 1st 2018. I caught the bus to Cleveland, walk to the Redland Performing Arts Centre, rang Dad, bought Ice Cream and Coke with No Sugar, ate Ice Cream, drank Coke with No Suagr, went inside, wrote notes and use mobile. The show started at 3pm with 2 guys from Sydney Suit and Tie which they performed an 30 minute set doing songs by Michael Jackson, Barry White, The Temptations and the Bee Gees which they were very good, there was an interval where I had an Coke with no sugar and went back inside. Official Blues Brothers Revue @ Kedron Wavell

Last Night I went to Kedron Wavell where I saw the Official Blues Brothers Revue show which was the first time I have seen them and it is sanctioned by Dan Ackroyd who was in the Blues Brothers movie in 1980 and Judith Belushi widow of John Belushi. Dad took me to the bus stop, caught bus, read Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough book which I finished after 1 day, read Rick Astley book, got off at Chermside and walk to Kedron Wavell. Went to the Kitchen, rang Dad, had a look at menu, ordered my meal, use my mobile, write notes and read Book. Had Rump Combo(Steak, Chips, salad and Chicken Wings) for dinner, drank Coke with No Sugar, waited for my plates to get collected but didn't as well as my desert which i waited until 7.50pm, went to the Blue Pacific Room. Last night I went to the Redland Performing Arts Centre to see the iconic rock band The Choirboys which was my 4th time seeing them as I last saw them at the Brisbane Entertainment Center for the Countdown concert on Saturday September 16th 2006 and it was the first time I have a whole show of theirs as they have been on bills with other acts. Dad took me to the bus stop, caught bus to Cleveland, went to the Coolangatta Sands Hotel, rang Dad, had steak, chips and salad for dinner, drank Coke with No Sugar, Ate Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake, paid for my meal and walk to the Redland Performing Arts Centre. Bought Pub Rock CD, went inside and write notes. This is from the Telegraph October 7th 1965 and now the classic hits station 4BH was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the 60's which their disc jockeys were Grahame Cherry who would go on to work at 4KQ and 4BK, Dal Myles who would manage Brisbane rock group The Five known for the hit single I'll be There and Bill Gates who was the one who gave the Bee Gees their name as well as doing the record hops including the O'Connor Boathouse in the city.

This is from the Sunday Truth October 6th 1963 and 4BC which is now the talk back station as it is the only commercial one here in Brisbane was one of Brisbane's top radio stations at the time in the 60's which on Sundays there was the Super 70 show playing the latest records that was out at the time which started at 5.30am for 13 hours with disc jockeys Geoff Atkinson, Bob Wills, Johnny James and Mike Baker.

Mirage Tour 82 Fleetwood Mac

In September 1982 rock band Fleetwood Mac started an 31 city tour of America in support of the album they released in June that year Mirage which went to number 1 in the USA and one of the shows they played was the Forum in Los Angeles on October 21st and 22nd that were recorded which it now out on CD as an double. On The live double CD they performed the songs from the self titled album, Rumours, Tusk and Mirage and even Oh Well which was Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green as there is 6 tracks was previously unreleased and the others that had been on Fleetwood MAc Live the deluxe edition as well as the Mirage Deluxe Edition in 2016 and 1983 Longform Video. This is the memoir of American actress and singer Moon Zappa and in this book she talks about her upbringing in California, having the hit single Valley Girl with Her father Frank Zappa in 1982, started acting on TV shows like Chips, MTV as an VJ with her brother Dweezil, Fast Times ,The Facts Of Life and Normal Family and movies including National Lampoon's European Vacation, the passing of her father in 1993 and her mother Gail in 2015 and many others. It is excellent and FANTASTIC as well as impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read. It is nearly 31 years since the passing of her father Frank Zappa but the music still lives on and this an must for Frank Zappa fans which I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

This is the memoir of Charles Spencer an journalist and author as well as being Princess Diana's brother and in this book he talks about his early childhood including his parents' marriage break up, going to England's most exclusive boarding schools called Maidwell in 1972 which he would be there until 1977 as he would experience abuse and cruelty which he draws on memories of his contemporaries as well as his letters and diaries frtom that period and also talks about the staff and teachers there. It is sad, touching, moving and amazing as well as impressive and interesting which it is well worth an read and to understand how times were back then comparison to now to go through that which he tells it very honestly. I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
