Mirage Tour 82 Fleetwood Mac

In September 1982 rock band Fleetwood Mac started an 31 city tour of America in support of the album they released in June that year Mirage which went to number 1 in the USA and one of the shows they played was the Forum in Los Angeles on October 21st and 22nd that were recorded which it now out on CD as an double. On The live double CD they performed the songs from the self titled album, Rumours, Tusk and Mirage and even Oh Well which was Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green as there is 6 tracks was previously unreleased and the others that had been on Fleetwood MAc Live the deluxe edition as well as the Mirage Deluxe Edition in 2016 and 1983 Longform Video. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT songs which sounds great with great playing and the band were at the time really at their form at that time. It went to number 55 in Germany and This is an must for Fleetwood Mac fans which I give it 4 and an half stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an fav

Earth To Moon Moon Unit Zappa

This is the memoir of American actress and singer Moon Zappa and in this book she talks about her upbringing in California, having the hit single Valley Girl with Her father Frank Zappa in 1982, started acting on TV shows like Chips, MTV as an VJ with her brother Dweezil, Fast Times ,The Facts Of Life and Normal Family and movies including National Lampoon's European Vacation, the passing of her father in 1993 and her mother Gail in 2015 and many others. It is excellent and FANTASTIC as well as impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read. It is nearly 31 years since the passing of her father Frank Zappa but the music still lives on and this an must for Frank Zappa fans which I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

A Very Private School by Charles Spencer

This is the memoir of Charles Spencer an journalist and author as well as being Princess Diana's brother and in this book he talks about his early childhood including his parents' marriage break up, going to England's most exclusive boarding schools called Maidwell in 1972 which he would be there until 1977 as he would experience abuse and cruelty which he draws on memories of his contemporaries as well as his letters and diaries frtom that period and also talks about the staff and teachers there. It is sad, touching, moving and amazing as well as impressive and interesting which it is well worth an read and to understand how times were back then comparison to now to go through that which he tells it very honestly. I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

4BC October 1955

This is from the Telegraph October 5th 1955 and now the talk back station as it's the only commercial one in Brisbane 4BC was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations back in the 1950's which among their radio personalities was George Foster who was on Wednesday nights at 8.30pm doing the show Jukebox Jackpots.

4BH Top 40 Charts October 1968

This is from the Telegraph October 4th 1968 and this was the 4BH Top 40 charts with the Beatles at number 1 with Hey Jude/Revolution which it was the first record released on Apple Records, Jeannie C Riley at number 2 with Harper Valley P.T.A, Marty Wilde (Kim's Father) at number 3 with Abergavenny and Derek aka Johnny Cymbal at number 4 with Cinnamon which he wrote it with George Tobin. The Australian acts who were on the charts that week were The Bee Gees at number 7 with Kitty Can/I've Gotta Get A Message To You, The Easybeats at number 14 with Land Of Make Believe/Good Times, John (Johnny then) Farnham at number 19 with the doubel sided I Don't Want To Love You(cover of an Everly brothers song)/Jamie written by Hans Poulsen and Normie Rowe at number 29 with Born To Be By Your Side and among the acts who were in the charts that week were The Rascals at number 5 with People Got To Be Free, Mason Williams at nuumber 8 with Classical Gas, Tom Jones at number 12 with Help Y

This is from the Telegraph October 4th 1963 and this was the 4BH top 40 charts with Los Indios Tabajaras at number 1 with Maria Elena, Trini Lopez at number 2 with his version of the 1962 hit by Peter Paul and Mary If I Had A Hammer, Helen Shapiro at number 3 with No Tresspassing and Jack Nitzsche at number 4 with The Lonely Surfer. The new entries in the chart that week were Roy Orbison at number 21 with Blue Bayou, Cliff Richard at number 30 with his version of the Tommy Edwards song It's All In The Game, Johnny O'Keefe at number 33 with Shake Baby Shake and Dion at number 39 with Donna The Prima Donna and besides from Johnny O'Keefe the other Australian acts on the charts that week were the Atlantics at number 5 with Bombora, The Denvermen at number 12 with the Avalon Stomp, the DeKroo Brothers at number 17 with Her Name Is Scarlet and Rob E.G at number 26 with 55 Days At Peking.

4KQ October 1968

This is from the Telegraph October 3rd 1968 and long before it became Good Times and Great Classic Hits that lasted until 2 years ago when it ended after 75 years 4KQ was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the 60's which the music they were playing was easy listening as it was know on the advert as Better Music and the News was an an big thing if people got news they would ring the station about it which was interesting.

This is the new compilation CD by legendary American singer Cher and on the CD it has the classic hits including Gypsys Tramps and Thieves, If I Could Turn Back Time, The Shoop Shoop Song, Believe, Strong Enough, I Found Someone as well as 2 of the Abba songs she recorded in 2018 and the 2023 recording DJ Play A Christmas Song from the Christmas she released last year and many others. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC songs that has stood the test of time as they still sound great to this day as it is still appreciated after all these years as you can never get tired hearing these songs and it has gone to number 163 in the USA and number 44 in the UK. This year is happening for Cher which besides from the CD she is going to be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame which she truly deserves it and has an memoir coming out in November. This is an must for Cher fans and I give it 4 and an half stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT whic
