Gone Truckin Slim Dusty

This the new compilation by iconic Australian country singer Slim Dusty and this CD has songs about trucks that Slim recorded over the years including the 1972 single The Lights On The Hill written by his wife Joy McKean, Road Train Blues which Slim wrote that with Australian country singer-songwriter Stan Coster, Three Hundred Horses which Slim wrote that with Ernie Constance, Dieseline Dreams, Gotta Keep Moving, My Dad Was A Roadtrain Man which was an cover of the Johnny Greenwood song, Stra Trucker and many other gems. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC truckin songs which they hold up very well and still sounding great to this day as great music still endures and also Slim and Joy's daughter Anne Kirkpatrick does the liner notes. it is 21 years since the passing of Slim Dusty but the great music he made lives on forever and it will never die and still appreciated after all these years. This is an must for Slim Dusty fans and I give this 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed. Keep supporting Australian music past and present.
