Modern Sounds In Country Music Ray Charles

In April 1962 iconic American soul singer Ray Charles released the album Modern Sounds In Country and Western Music which went to number 1 in the USA and number 6 in the UK as it was an departure from the Rhythm and Blues music that he was doing with Atlantic Records in the 50's which had country, folk and Western Music standards which Ray Charles reworked them in popular songs form of the time including Jazz, R&B and pop and also he and Sid Feller produced the album as they were the 4 hits including the number 1 hit I Can't Stop Loving You which was an cover of the Don Gibson song and You Don't Know Me. It is now out on CD through Tangerine that Ray Charles founded in the 60's and it has the original tracks that was on the album which besides from the 4 hit singles has versions of the Hank Williams songs Hey Good Looking and You Win Again and the Everly Brothers 1957 hit Bye Bye Love. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and AWESOME songs that has stood the test of time and they still sound great today as great music still endures. It was 20 years ago in June this year when Ray Charles passed away but the great music he made will on forver as music is stil appreciated after all these years. This is an must for Ray Charles fans which I give it 4 and an half stars as it's in the shops npow so do yurselves an favou and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
