4BH Top 40 charts October 1963
This is from the Telegraph October 4th 1963 and this was the 4BH top 40 charts with Los Indios Tabajaras at number 1 with Maria Elena, Trini Lopez at number 2 with his version of the 1962 hit by Peter Paul and Mary If I Had A Hammer, Helen Shapiro at number 3 with No Tresspassing and Jack Nitzsche at number 4 with The Lonely Surfer. The new entries in the chart that week were Roy Orbison at number 21 with Blue Bayou, Cliff Richard at number 30 with his version of the Tommy Edwards song It's All In The Game, Johnny O'Keefe at number 33 with Shake Baby Shake and Dion at number 39 with Donna The Prima Donna and besides from Johnny O'Keefe the other Australian acts on the charts that week were the Atlantics at number 5 with Bombora, The Denvermen at number 12 with the Avalon Stomp, the DeKroo Brothers at number 17 with Her Name Is Scarlet and Rob E.G at number 26 with 55 Days At Peking.
