Classic Albums Pendulum by Creedence Clearwater Revival

For this week's classic album segment let's have an look at the Creedence Clearwater Revival album Pendulum. It was recorded at Wally Heider Studio San Francisco in November 1970 and it was released December 7th 1970 which went to number 5 in the USA,number 8 in the UK, number 1 in Australia and Norway, number 2 in Holland and Canada and number 3 in Italy by early 1971 and also went platinum in the USA and Gold in Finland. From the album had the hit singles Have You Ever Seen The Rain and hey Tonight  and besides from those 2 songs all the other songs were written by John Fogerty. It was the last album for rhythm guitarist and John's brother Tom who left the group  not long after that to start a solo career and it was the last album with John Fogerty songs and him as producer as the next and last album that was to be Mardi Gras in 1972 Doug and Stu contributed to the album along with John. It's an great album which still rocks after 50 years  as it will be this December when it came out  and still sounds great as ever as it holds up very well after all these years with an great vocal performance by John as well as the great musicianship as well as the sound was polished and tight and also were also at that creative peak . It is an classic album indeed and it's still shops somewhere  so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.
