Sunset Boulevard Elvis Presley

This is the boxed 5 CD set by American singer Elvis Presley which has recording sessions and rehearsals that was held at RCA Sunset Boulevard studios in Los Angeles California in the period between 1970-75 which on the 1st CD has the hit singles between 1972-75 including Burning Love, Always On My Mind, Separate Ways, Fool and T-R-O-U-B-L-E, the second CD has outakes of the songs that was on the First CD and the last 3 CD's has concert rehearsals between on July 24th 1970 and August 16th 1974. It is FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with FANTASTIC songs as well as hearing the outtakes and rehearsals are just FANTASTIC too and the sound quality is FANTASTIC also. Matt Ross-Spang an Grammy Award winning producer did the mixing and Jerry Schilling who worked for Elvis Presley as well as an music manager for Jerry Lee Lewis and the Beach Boys did the liner notes as well as Colin Escott and Rick Ruggieri who was an audio engineer. It's been 48 years since the passing of Elvis Presley but the great music he made still lives on as great music never dies it endures and gets appreciated after all these years and great to see stuff coming out of the vaults which it's amazing to hear it. This is an must for Elvis Presley fans and I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

 This is the autobiography of Australian Pianist and musician John Charter and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Kingsford (Sydney), started learning piano at age 8, playing in Australia's first rock and roll band Alan Dale and the Houserockers, playing in his own trio, forming Johnny Rebb and The Rebels with Johnny Rebb who would achieve 6 top 40 hits from 1959-60 including Hey Sheriff and Pathway To Paradise, doing the Lee Gordon tours with the Everly brothers, Fabian , The Platters and Johnny Ray, doing Bandstand and Six O'Clock Rock, working with Slim Dusty, playing in the Sydney Club  and hotel Scene , forming his own group The John Charter Group, working in Vietnam and America with Digger Revell and many others.
